The Youkou Iron Ore project is located on the Ivindo
Massif in the north west of the Republic of Congo
Waratah secured a Permit for area No. G6-508 in the
Republic of Gabon ("Gabon") in December 2011.
Okanabora is located and forms part of an iron ore
provincein the Archaean Congo Craton.

The Company’s flagship Youkou Iron Project (“Youkou”) was acquired in October 2010 and is located on the Ivindo Massif – an emerging iron ore province hosting at least 4 billion tonnes of iron ore with the potential for large scale iron ore mineralization.
Waratah is planning an aggressive exploration program to identify and delineate resources at Youkou as well as planning the exploration and development of its Okanabora and Gabon licenses.
Waratah is well positioned to take part in the development of this region into the world’s newest iron ore province, and has developed strong relationships with the ROC government. The Company is currently aiming to define a JORC-compliant resource using its company owned drilling rigs and equipment.
